Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz who was birthed within Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her hometown. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother, were both authors as well as editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. She has a younger brother Uria and half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was seven, her family relocated into Mendocino County California. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her part in The Age of Innocence (1993).
